CENTRIMED – Medical Research Center, SAS highlighted the benefits of the Bandex Health Advance Credit, a specialized program of the Development and Export Bank (BANDEX), designed to benefit the health sector and that offers flexible financing options.
“The financing funds that we have received are a benefit that will be of great contribution to our health center, improving the cutting-edge technology services in greatest demand for the community and increasing the capacity for diagnostic studies,” said Ingrid Fernández, administrative manager. of the medical center.
“Among the services we offer at the center are high-field magnetic resonance studies (1.5 Tesla), computed axial tomography, sonography, X-rays, densitometry, mammography, clinical laboratory, and non-invasive cardiological tests. Our center has more than 30 employees and, although we are a small health center, we will now be able to integrate about five more employees into the services,” Fernández stated.
He reported that they found out about the BANDEX Health Advance Credit through the national press, “We approached and made the request. The experience has been excellent and we have been treated with the same quality as the rest of the national commercial banks, and possibly even with better service.”
The funded funds will be used to acquire high-tech medical equipment used in diagnostic imaging studies.
“Our goal is to continue fulfilling our mission of contributing to the care and preservation of the health of Dominican society, through the provision of radiological and clinical laboratory diagnostic services, based on the highest quality standards,” Fernández highlighted.
“The medical center began its operations in 2016 with the objective of offering specialized and high-quality diagnostic services in the market. During the last five years we have treated more than 30,000 patients per year, in diagnostic support services, prevention and support for monitoring the health of diagnosed patients,” Fernández pointed out.

The Bandex Health Advance Credit is a specialized program that offers flexible and unique financing options in the market, to strengthen the private health network nationwide and its capabilities to care for a sector of great social and economic relevance in the Dominican Republic. The fund will respond to credit requests from small offices and primary care centers to tertiary centers, with emphasis on requests from provinces, peripheral areas and places far from large regional hospital centers, with the requirement of providing health services to the population through SENASA.
