BANDEX reports financial facilities for Dominicans abroad
SANTO DOMINGO. – The Development and Export Bank (Bandex) informed the Dominican diaspora about the products and financial facilities offered by the banking institution through “What’s New in the DR”.
The announcement was made by Maria Teresa Ferreiro, business vice president of Bandex, during a conversation organized by the Institute of Dominicans Abroad (Index), where María Teresa Ferreiro assured that Dominicans residing abroad can access all products of Bandex, “if they meet the evaluation requirements.”
The banking executive reported that Bandex provides support to all branches of the export-oriented industrial sector, "especially those that contribute to the sustainable development of the country."
Ferreiro highlighted, “the financial support is also aimed at any person or company that participates in at least one link of the chain or in a project that promotes development and progress at a socio-economic level, such as innovation, environmental sustainability and brings with it the generation of new jobs in the country.”
He reported that among the products to which the diaspora will have access, there are credits for women exporters, development, health advancement, innovation, agriculture and mechanization, credit, sustainability, innovation and term deposits.
“What's new in the DR” is an Index initiative where the diaspora is informed about products and services of interest that the Dominican State has in public and private institutions.
The conversation takes place every month in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), broadcast live on the Zoom platform, where dozens of Dominicans abroad connect, and is subsequently broadcast through YouTube.
