Mexico City, Mexico - The National Export Bank (BANDEX) and the National Foreign Trade Bank of Mexico (Bancomext) signed a memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation, exchange of information and the promotion of programs to boost Dominican and Mexican exports.
The agreement signed at the BANCOMEXT headquarters by the president of the entity, Mr. Francisco González, and by the General Manager of BANDEX, Mr. Guarocuya Félix, is part of the Government's actions within the Year to Promote Exports.
Cooperation contemplates the possibility of financing, co-financing or guaranteeing investment projects of common interest, mainly SMEs and large projects.
Both financial entities agreed to exchange information in seminars, conferences, visits or business forums as well as in other events, as well as through the temporary exchange of personnel, employee training and technical assistance.
The agreement establishes that when banks decide to support the financing of a specific project or transaction, the terms and conditions of said support will follow the guidelines established in the OECD Agreement on export credit, current laws and regulations, as well as the internal criteria and regulations required by both parties.

A BANDEX delegation attended the Latin American Meeting on Foreign Trade Financing and International Business and Investment in Mexico organized by the National Bank of Foreign Trade of Mexico (BANCOMEXT) and the Latin American Association of Financial Institutions for Development (ALIDE), which was held in Mexico. held in Mexico City on April 11 and 12.
The group was headed by Guarocuya Félix, General Manager of BANDEX, together with Esther Hernández Medina, Director of Strategic Management, Guillem Martí Masana, Interim Manager of Operations and Technology, and Jesseilin Rodríguez Kelly, Director of Treasury.
